The Rising Entrepreneurs Program aims to support young entrepreneurs who have technology-based solutions or innovative approaches through the three pillars:

The Program pursues the goal of creating a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Puerto Rico with an emphasis on the Western region of the Island.
You are a committed individual who consistently attends and engages in the lessons, demonstrating dedication to the program.
You have developed an expertise that has led to a successful product or service you are currently ready to take to market or scale sales.
You have some solid business skills, or you and other team members are committed to learning how to run a successful business.

The Rising Entrepreneurs Program unfolds through different stages, guiding participants step by step in their entrepreneurial journey:
Program timeline
February → Onboarding & Kick Start
March – May → Lessons in Mayagüez (10 weeks in person)
May – August → REP Scale (Hybrid experience)
This journey combines in-person intensity with hybrid flexibility, making Mayagüez the place where ideas spark, grow, and scale.
What We Look for In the Team
- Features an existing core team of at least two founders dedicated full-time to the venture.
- Skillset to be able to execute the business model.
- One of the founders must be puerto rican
- Be purpose-driven to create a positive social impact through the business.
- Bilingual: Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
What we look for in the business
- Innovative product or service that brings a fresh, highly differentiated approach to the market.
- A business and revenue model that makes sense.
- A reasonable business case for scaling locally and abroad.
- Have distinct sales revenues from the product/service to be supported by REP.
- Have a P&L for the past year or can develop a proforma P&L.
- 3 to 5 years in operation for mobile applications, E-Commerce, or technology-equivalent businesses.
- 5 to 7 years in operation for physical product businesses.
