Frequently Asked Questions

blue checkbox
Can co-founders apply together?
Only one person per company should submit the application, typically the CEO.
blue checkbox
What does “Puerto Rican descent” mean?
We welcome founders who identify as Puerto Rican, whether born on the island, raised in the diaspora, or of Puerto Rican heritage. We trust founders to self-identify.
blue checkbox
Does my company need to be a tech company?
No. We welcome founders across all industries. What matters is that you’re building an ambitious, high-growth company with the potential to scale.
blue checkbox
What is the time commitment?
The Fellowship runs for approximately one year (typically February through December). Fellows participate in regular check-ins with their Thoma Bravo advisor and the Foundation team, but the program is designed to complement — not compete with — your day-to-day work running your company.
blue checkbox
What happens after the Fellowship year?
Fellows join the Bravo Venture Fellowship alumni community and continue to have access to the Foundation’s network. The Foundation remains a long-term partner and investor in your company.
blue checkbox
Is this program related to the Rising Entrepreneurs Program (REP)?
The Venture Fellowship is a separate program from REP, though both are initiatives of the Bravo Family Foundation. REP is a non-dilutive accelerator for earlier-stage founders; the Fellowship is for founders further along who are ready to scale and accommodate equity investment. Some Fellows may be REP alumni, but it’s not a requirement.
